Job Description

We are expanding our team and searching for an exceptional Lead Programmer with extensive experience to take our projects to new horizons. This role combines the responsibilities of a Chief Technical Officer (CTO) with the hands-on expertise of a Lead Programmer. If you have a minimum of 4 years of C++ programming experience, a strong track record of shipping titles, and the ambition to lead from the front, we invite you to join us in shaping the future of the RaceRoom franchise.

As the Lead Programmer - Advanced Technology Development, you will not only drive innovation but also oversee the technical direction of our projects. Reporting directly to the Head of Studio, you will be pivotal in defining our technical roadmap and ensuring its successful execution. Your focus will be on spearheading advancements in rendering and physics, setting the standard for excellence in these areas.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Take the lead in advancing the technology and features of the RaceRoom franchise, setting the bar for innovation.
• Strategic Vision: Collaborate with the Head of Studio to develop and execute the technical strategy for our projects.
• Innovation: Drive excellence in rendering and physics, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in simracing.
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and meet deadlines.
• Remote Collaboration: Exhibit strong communication skills in this remote working role, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
• Self-Management: Independently manage your workflows and motivate yourself to excel.
• Lead by Example: Rise to the challenge of setting the standard for technical excellence, inspiring your team with your dedication.
